CONCURRENT SESSIONS
 

Organization
The sessions have been scheduled so that presenters and attendees can select the presentations that are of interest to them and move from one room to the next at the end of each presentation if they wish.
Each individual presentation will last 15 minutes with a 5-minute period for questions and comments. At the end of each presentation, presenters or attendees will have 10 minutes to change rooms to attend another presentation.
This arrangement will ensure that the presentations go as scheduled. If a presentation is cancelled, the next presentation will not start earlier. This arrangement will also allow for a wider variety when choosing presentations.
Panels will be allotted 70 minutes, after which 10 minutes will be devoted to questions.

 

Requirements
In order to optimize the organization and avoid delays, it will be necessary for presenters to send their presentations in advance. They should do so until
October 30th to alsfal2017@gmail.com, writing in the subject line “Surname – first four words of the title of the paper.”

 

IMPORTANT:

The formats accepted for the presentations are the following:

-Microsoft Power Point (ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx)

-PDF -LibreOffice (odp)

-Prezi

 

If the file is heavier than 40 MB, presenters are required to upload it to the cloud (google drive, dropbox, etc.) and share the link. A file is usually heavier when the presentation contains audio or video files, in which case it is advisable to use pps or ppsx format of Power Point.


Those who choose to bring their own laptop should have a VGA-HDMI adapter (if the laptop does not have a VGA port).
